The 38th Fajr Film Festival announces lineup of ten documentaries to vie at the event.

The Fajr Film Festival in Iran has announced the lineup of ten documentaries to vie at the 38th edition of the event.

The selection committee, comprised of Babak Behdad, Ramin Heidari, and Morteza Shabani, selected the following ten documentaries to participate at the documentary competition section of the 38th Fajr:

‘Lady’ directed by Mohammad Habibi-Mansour

‘The Marriage Project’ directed by Hessam Eslami and Atieh Attarzadeh

‘No Place for Angels’ directed by Sam Kalantari

‘Lunar Eclipse’ directed by Mohsen Ostad-Ali

‘Narrow Red Line’ directed by Farzad Khoshdast

‘It’s Winter’ directed by Mehrdad Zahedian

‘Life Among Warring Flags’ directed by Mohsen Eslamzadeh

‘Excellency’ directed by Sajjad Imani

‘Kami’ directed by Mitra Ebrahimi

‘Kill Mehdi Araqi’ directed by Abdolreza Nematollahi

The entire lineup of selected documentaries recently took part at the 13th Cinema Vérité, Iran’s major international documentary film festival in Tehran on December 9-16, 2019.

Presided over by Ebrahim Daroughehzadeh, the 38th Fajr Film Festival will take place in Tehran on February 1-10, 2020.
